On November 9, 2019, Esther: The Queen of Persia will be performed for the first time ever. Esther: The Queen of Persia is an original stage musical written by internationally recognized producers Robert and Elizabeth Muren, the creators of God with Us and The Heart of Christmas. In addition to being a visual and auditory thrill, the production will lift your spirits through the touching story of Queen Esther. The show features an intricately woven plot that depicts Esther in three stages of her life. She begins as a humble Jewish girl, exiled under Persian rule. Then, as a young woman, she triumphantly ascends to the royal position of queen of Persia. Finally, thirty years after becoming queen, Esther looks back upon her life and uncovers the truth about who God says she is. Esther realizes that with God on her side, she can do far more than she ever thought possible. Previous productions by the Murens have been described as “breathtaking,” “the Bible brought to life,” “Broadway-level,” and “simply outstanding.”

Esther: The Queen of Persia is a vibrant, colorful production with gorgeous costumes and dazzling choreography. The drama is interspersed with humor and powerful lessons from the Word of God. Robert and Elizabeth Muren will perform in the show, along with Adam Stone, coordinator of the Charis Bible College Creative Arts School, and many Charis students and staff. The staging includes a colossal LED backdrop that integrates screen and stage elements. Unforgettable melodies are integral to the production. Esther: The Queen of Persia is family friendly and takes place at The Auditorium of Charis Woodland Park immediately following the Women Arise Conference. Doors open at 4:00 p.m. with general admission seating. The show will begin at 5:30 p.m.
