Job Title:                  Order & Partnership Services Assistant + Web Administrator

Department:             Operations

Reporting to:           Operations Manager

Hours:                      Part Time (Tuesday to Thursday, 22.5 hours per week)

Location:                  Grace International Centre, Leamore Lane, Walsall, WS2 7PS

Start date:                As soon as possible

Contract:                  Permanent

 

Main Purpose:

To assist Operations department in their day to day tasks in serving partners and customers.

 

The Role:

1.    Entering, checking & processing customer orders, donations and partnership payments onto Dimensions.

2.    Handling orders arriving by post, shopping cart (ePDQ and PayPal) and via Helpline.

3.    Raising invoices for bookshops.

4.    Processing partnership payments from credit card settlement.

5.    Maintaining customer records on Dimensions.

6.    Processing and answering email enquiries.

7.    Replying to written requests.

8.    Processing returned post and updating records on Dimensions as required.

9.    Checking and updating current information on the AWME Website.

10. Adding new and updating existing products.

11. Adding new and updating existing teaching highlight pages.

12. Checking and updating event information on the AWM Websites.

13. Liaising with other departments to gather required information.

14. Attending meetings, training programmes, presentations, conferences and social events on behalf of AWME as required.

15. Complying with all AWME Health & Safety Procedures.

16. Carrying out any such additional duties as required by the company from time to time to meet the “business needs”.

17. Covering Order & Partner Services Partner Admin role job in their absence.

18. Covering Operations Manager’s job in their absence.

19. Adhering to the statement of faith and to the ethos statement of AWME/Charis.

 

The Ideal candidate profile:

·        A Graduate from Charis Bible College with previous call centre experience.

·        Be able to proof read and correct written text to a high standard.

·        Have excellent attention to detail.

·        Have excellent general IT skills, including in Microsoft Office software - On-the-job training for Ministry specific systems will be provided.

·        Have basic knowledge of image editing software (preferably Photoshop CC).

·        Please note, technical web development knowledge is not needed for this role.

·        Be able to work independently as well as in a team.

·        Have good communication skills.

·        Discretion and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.

·        Love for people and a servant’s heart with a teachable spirit.

 

The post-holder will work in a Christian environment and will handle Christian materials and products, therefore must be a committed Christian who is completely in sympathy with the calling and mission of Andrew Wommack Ministries and Charis Bible College. This post falls within the definition of an Occupational Requirement under the Equality Act 2010.

Partner & Alumni Relations Assistant

Reporting to: Partner & Alumni Relations Coordinator

Hours: Part time (20 hours per week)

Location: Andrew Wommack Ministries – Europe, Walsall

Start date: As soon as possible

 

Main Purpose:

To assist the Partner & Alumni Relations Coordinator in matters pertaining to partner and alumni relations function.

 

The Role:

 

  1. Conduct partner/alumni calls, maintaining consistency and a high quality of service, endeavouring to ensure that each partner/alumni has a positive experience of the ministry.
  2. Put special focus on calling partners/alumni to encourage, bless & pray for them. Pray encouraging, Word-based prayers with partner/alumni in a manner that communicates warmth, empathy and enthusiasm, and that inspires god-dependency, as required.
  3. Assist with training of any other staff/volunteers who may be taken on by the department, as required.
  4. Ensure that all telephone communication is in line with the teaching of Andrew Wommack.
  5. Write Thank you/Sympathy cards to send to partners/alumni.
  6. Assist the Partner & Alumni Relations Coordinator in developing and implementing plans to improve communication and the overall service we offer to partners/alumni, and to help them to feel connected to the ministry & college.
  7. Assist the Partner & Alumni Relations Coordinator in developing and implementing plans to retain existing partners and donors and gain new partners and donors, including, but not limited to, special events, group visits, individual visits.
  8. Keep up to date with all ministry information, including products, events, special offers etc.
  9. Assist in preparing statistics to communicate the success of the department as required.
  10. Assist in researching, drafting or abstracting reports as required.
  11. Assist in maintaining up to date contact records for alumni.
  12. Assist the Marketing & Events Coordinator or other staff as appropriate in encouraging alumni to volunteer and/or help at ministry/college events.
  13. Assist with arranging partner/alumni visits or meetings.
  14. Conduct outbound customer service calls as required to incorporate marketing projects as they arise.
  15. Carry out any such additional duties as required by the company from time, to time to meet the “business needs.”
  16. Comply with all AWME data protection, health & safety, IT/internet, staff handbook and other procedures.
  17. Adhere to the statement of faith and to the ethos statement of AWME/Charis.

 

 

Appointments/Meetings:

  • Attend ministry/college conferences and speak to alumni, partners & potential partners.
  • Attend other meetings, training programmes, presentations, conferences and social events on behalf of AWME as required.
  • Meet with partners/alumni as and when required.
  • Attend departmental meetings.


Key Skills:

  1. Excellent oral communication skills and telephone etiquette.
  2. Good written communication skills.
  3. Comprehensive knowledge of Andrew’s teaching.
  4. Good computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft packages e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  5. Prior experience of using databases useful but not essential as appropriate training will be given.
  6. Excellent team working skills and a good team player.
  7. Ability to think creatively.
  8. Ability to take initiative and complete projects independently.
  9. Warm and welcoming personality.
  10. Charis Bible College graduate is preferred.
