This month we would like to share with you what is happening in our European Office, based in Walsall. From this office many nations around the world are being influenced and people’s lives are being changed. From here we distribute many DVDs and CDs of Andrew’s teachings and it is from here in our helpline that many people are ministered to on a daily basis. The ministry’s website can be browsed in 15 languages and translation of many books is happening around the world. More news on our translation work will follow later in the newsletter. Additionally Charis Bible College prepares many men and women for ministry in all walks of life here at this site. From the offices administration of the ministry takes place and we have developed a distribution centre for materials in Hungary with offices in South Africa, India, Germany and later this year Singapore, Hong Kong and the possibility of Australia. Our God is a big God, who gives us big dreams and helps us to fulfil them. Lives change, situations change, circumstances change all because of the word of God.
Grace & Faith In May 2010, we held our annual Grace and Faith Family Camp at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, where families turned up for 4 days of fellowship and teaching. During these days we had teaching from Andrew, Wendell Parr and Dave Hinton with Praise and Worship led by Jill & Charlie Leblanc. 4 - 7 year olds had messy church - and it was messy! The 11-18 year olds had their own times of celebration and teaching with much fun thrown in. In the main auditorium lives were changed through God’s word and the power of the Holy Spirit. People went home filled with the joy of the Lord and enthusiastic about their God. Plan to be with us this year. Bring the family, bring your neighbours, bring your friends, bring whomever you can get for four days of fun and fellowship during the bank holiday weekend May 27-30th. Translation Work From China to Europe taking in Asia, Africa and multiple European nations we are now printing many of Andrew’s books in 43 languages. On our website you will have seen Andrew’s report from China where we saw great things in the underground church and we were able to distribute 5 books in Chinese. With 5 more books in the process of being printed, we are helping to change lives in the largest nation on earth. From our distribution point in Hungary, we see lives being changed in many nations across Europe as people read about what God has done for them through Christ, in their own language. It is an amazing thing to observe people weeping over the message they are receiving in their native tongue. Check out our website and see the books that have been translated. Many are being published as eBooks, enabling people to download these books straight onto their computer in their own language. Praise God for men and woman who give up many hours of their time to help us translate these materials into foreign languages, and it just keeps growing and growing. Praise God that we can influence nations.
German Office In September 2010 it was a joy to open an office in Birkenfeld, West Germany. This office is run by Brenda & Anke and overseen by Juergen, the pastor of a local church. From this small office they seek to spread the nearly-too-good-to-be-true news across their nation, selling Andrew’s materials in both German and English and communicating with the German people in their own language so that they might come to a place of understanding the riches of their God. In October this year, Andrew will visit Karlsruhe for a 3 day conference and we look forward to welcoming many of our German brothers & sisters to those meetings. See Andrew’s schedule overleaf for more details. Sometime in the next year we are believing to see a Charis Bible College established here alongside the office in Birkenfeld. Charis Bible College – England CBC is flourishing this year. We are set to have 35 second years graduate at our Grace & Faith Family Camp this May. We will promote 38 full time students from first to second year as well as honouring about 20 correspondence students who have completed the first year curriculum, many of whom will come and join the 2nd year class in September. In addition to the full time students we currently have 13 students enrolled on our Night School program which started in September 2010. Our third year class, though few in number this year (14) has been a dynamic group, ministering to the students and also taking CBC out into the community, praying for people on the local estates and on the local streets. These teams have seen people saved and have encouraged many others. It’s been a full year already; students have been on mission trips to South Africa, Holland and even the UK and over the next few months trips are planned for Spain, Hungary and the Philippines. Prison Ministry Notes from Sandie Hicks, Chaplin at Dovegate prison. I want to tell you of the amazing things that God is doing in Dovegate and how you have blessed us as a community with the wonderful teaching we have in the prison from Andrew Wommack and Charis Bible College. The director of the prison has allowed CDs, DVDs, books & courses to be sent into us and former CBC student, Andrea Stafford and a team of helpers teach twice weekly in the prison and distribute the courses and materials. These people have been instrumental in seeing many men’s lives touched. They have seen a young Muslim man led to Christ and saw God touch his body in healing. Shortly after being moved to another prison he later told me that Jesus Himself walked him to the gate and he registered in the next prison as a Christian, we are so blessed - Praise the Lord! Andrew, thank you for allowing us to receive the materials that give such sound teaching to the men in the prison. One man, over a period of 3 months, witnessed to every man in the prison who came either side of him and he ensured that each one left his presence with a bible. We keep replenishing his stocks. The straight forward teaching of Andrew has helped me minister to others - but not before it was rooted in me. I have matured as a Christian and seen many dramatic changes in my life as I walked in Faith through difficult situations. I am so blessed!
