The joy of the Lord is our strength (Neh. 8:10). Paul told us to rejoice in the Lord always (Phil. 4:4). Jesus said to be of good cheer in the midst of trouble (John 16:33). Yet many Christians find it difficult to be happy. Some have even taught that happiness is ungodly. But Jesus was happier than anyone of His day (Heb. 1:9).
