General Purpose

  1. To oversee all required Charis mission trips offered to Year 2 and 3 students.
  2. Oversee the Day and Hybrid School Year 2 Programme at Charis Bible College Walsall Campus.

Qualifications

  1. Must be a dedicated believer in agreement with the vision and doctrinal statements of Andrew Wommack Ministries and Charis Bible College and have a lifestyle that reflects this.
  2. Must have completed at least three years of training at a recognised Charis Bible College Campus and be willing to progress towards the Directors Training Programme.
  3. Must have great administration skills with excellent attention to detail, and at least one year of experience in a role with transferable skills.
  4. Must have good computer skills and be familiar with Office 365 including Excel.
  5. Must be able to communicate well verbally and in writing.
  6. Must have excellent interpersonal skills to liaise with people and provide an atmosphere of growth and development for staff and students.
  7. Provide leadership and direction for student mission trips and the Year 2 cohort.

General Duties

  1. Convey all policies and procedures established by World Outreach to their line of authority and ensure compliance with these policies and procedures.
  2. Train Charis mission leaders on leading successful trips.
  3. Schedule Charis students and leads for required Charis mission trips and oversee the process from preparation to completion.
  4. Liaise with the Charis Administrator & Year 3 Coordinator on the progress of Day and Hybrid School Year 2 students, maintaining statistics on each student.
  5. Attend every Hybrid Saturday

Specific Duties

  1. Have a good understanding of current Safeguarding Policies and Procedures.
  2. Work with the Charis Mission leaders to provide training on how to deal with difficult situations and how to handle challenging people.
  3. Oversee all training given to the Charis mission leads in preparation for the Charis students as they prepare for their mission trips.
  4. Work with contacts to increase opportunities for mission destinations.
  5. Work with the missions’ host at each destination to plan each trip and establish a schedule for ministry for the students while on their mission trips.
  6. Ensure all students going on mission trips have an up-to-date passport, necessary paperwork for international students and other visas/documentation applied for and received when needed.
  7. Have a good understanding of all the required checks for travel on Official sites – GOV.UK and ensure all travel requirements are met by the missions’ team.
  8. Liaise with Travel Agent regarding bookings and arrangements for international flights and accommodation for mission trips.
  9. Coordinate transportation of teams to and from airport.
  10. Book and arrange travel & Accommodation requirements for domestic Mission Trips
  11. Prepare all paperwork, packets and leaders manuals needed for each trip.
  12. Liaise with Finance Department to coordinate finance for mission trips.
  13. Make sure travel insurance is covered for team.
  14. Coordinate InterActive and Revelation Groups. Assign leaders to facilitate the groups.
  15. Collate records of Day and Hybrid School Year 2 students’ attendance, tests, teaching modules, notes and liaise with the Charis Administrator weekly.
  16. Answer students’ queries regarding tests, teaching, attendance, and ministry hours.
  17. Fellowship and pray with students as appropriate.
  18. Teach in class and at conferences when required.
  19. Participate in recruitment of students at events, via phone calls, emails etc.
  20. Have excellent reporting skills and an ability to meet deadlines on time and with accuracy.
 

Additional Requirements

1. The Year 2 Coordinator & Missions Supervisor will conduct themselves according to the guidelines of the ministry. They will be held to the standards outlined in the Staff Handbook. They will maintain a professional relationship with each of their colleagues, students, volunteers, and visitors while operating within the scope of their positions.

2. Attend meetings, training programmes, presentations, conferences and social events on behalf of Charis Bible College as required and represent the Ministry in line with the vision and mission of Andrew Wommack Ministries and Charis Bible College.

3. Comply with all AWME Health & Safety procedures.

4. Comply with all AWME Data Protection procedures.

5. Adhere to the Statement of Faith, Ethos Statement, and the Statement of Godly Living of AWME/Charis.

6. Carry out any such additional duties as required by the company from time to time to meet the “business needs”.

The post-holder will work in a Christian environment and will handle Christian materials and products, therefore must be a committed Christian who is completely in sympathy with the calling and mission of Andrew Wommack Ministries and Charis Bible College. This post falls within the definition of an Occupational Requirement of the Equality (Religion of Belief) Regulations.
